About the Program
The Community Conservation Corner is a Summer outreach program that runs weekly throughout July and August. The intention of the program is to help connect our community with our natural world and local conservation-focused organizations, and to promote engagement through citizen-science activities.
Location and Dates: 2023 TBD
Past Programming:
In 2022, this program ran twice a week throughout July and August in partnership with the Squamish Streamkeepers. On Saturdays, we partnered up with various local organizations to showcase what they're working on in the community and how people could get involved. On Tuesdays, we organized fun and educational activities that encouraged slowing down and taking a closer look at the world around us.
