Edith Tobe, Executive Director & Project Manager

Edith Tobe is a Professional Biologist who has her own environmental consulting company. She has been working with the SRWS since 1998 and was involved with the original Squamish River Watershed Committee back in 1993. Tobe has a degree in Biology from the University of Waterloo, a diploma in Resource Engineering Technology from Seneca College of Applied Arts, and a certificate in Watershed Management from UBC. She has extensive knowledge in watershed management, habitat restoration, hydrology, municipal design, storm water and silt control planning as well as skills in office management, events planning, and computer programming. One of her many passions is mapping wetlands and watercourses and raising awareness on the importance of them.

Tiffany Brunke (she/her), Education Outreach Assistant/Naturalist

Tiffany holds a BSc in Environmental Sciences from Queen's University and is an avid birder, naturalist, and conservationist. Through her work, she aims to inspire a greater appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the natural world, while encouraging reciprocity and mindful stewardship. Whether exploring wetlands, leading guided walks, or participating in habitat restoration projects, Tiffany finds joy in sharing her endless curiosity and enthusiasm with others.

Jasmine Muncaster, Restoration Technologist and Assistant Project Manager

Jasmine is a Ecological Restoration BSc graduate from BCIT, working towards becoming a Registered Professional Biologist with the College of Applied Biologist. She also has a diploma in Recreation Fish and Wildlife from Selkirk College and several years of valuable field experience working on a variety of restoration projects throughout British Columbia.

Jasmine loves exploring wetland and estuary habitats and is not shy about getting deep into the muck to better understand the amazing diversity of life that can be found in these valuable environments.

Silvi Cafarella, Education Outreach Program Coordinator

Silvi has BSc in Biology & Geography and a Masters of Science from the University of Victoria. Her research and teaching experience have focused on how we can use spatial and temporal statistics to better understand ecological processes. Her interests are in watershed management, and mapping wetlands and sensitive ecosystems. Silvi loves being outside and observing nature. Her favourite spot in the estuary is in the tidal flats or tidal meadows.
